This hard to find book from Japan is one of my favorites ... simply the cutest little embroidery motifs I've ever seen. Tiny people, tiny animals, tiny fruit, tiny vegetables and, yes, even a tiny hamburger. The tiny stork is perfect for the edge of a baby blanket. I haven't quite figured out where I'm going to put the tiny hamburger ... but I'll find a place for it somewhere!
Text is in Japanese but clear stitch diagrams and illustrations detailing the construction of several pouches, a cushion and a wallet need no translation for anyone familiar with needlework and sewing.
